The trip started with a 3 day stay in London before the crossing of the very north Atlantic.

Paddington Station

100 mph train from Heathrow brought me to London fresh as a daisy at 6:45 am after overnight flight.

I've stayed at the Quality Hotel twice before. All three times something essential broke at the hotel. This time the water didn't fail until I was checking out. But you have to admit that you would expect to hear Oliver sing, "Who will bring this beautiful morning." The location is a block from Paddington Station.

Note that the artistic framing which was due to my new digital camera's lens cap getting stuck half way open in the early morning humidity.
